We are looking for a Market Intelligence Executive to be part of our growing Consumer Marketplace Insights & Analytics Team.  

A day in the life of...

  • To advise in strategic decision making – including insights to the market, customers and competitors and be able to interpret the data to address business concerns.
  • Responsible for strategic external data and information, trend and scenario analysis, and other business analytics in support of strategic planning and execution.
  • To manage data quality across the external data sets that Nestle buys i.e. Nielsen, Kantar etc via regular assessment of overall coverage, trends & granularity.
  • Create and update comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models covering but not limited to market share, growth projections and trends
  • Execute thorough, systematic analysis of key industry & social trends – general socio-economic environment, FMCG & overall economic outlook for Philippines
  • Knowledgeable of various external data sources relevant to the PH economy in general & the FMCG category in specific, understand their credibility, assessing correctness, potential utilization and leverage as and when required
  • Works closely with key internal stakeholders

What will make you successful

  • At least 8 years of total professional experience, 4 years of which within the same capacity
  • Understanding of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry
  • Well versed with Nielsen Retail Audit & Kantar Household Panel database
  • Knowledge of Power BI & proficient with excel macro tools
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to network effectively and influence across all levels
  • Strength in problem solving and analytics with the ability to drive insights into action
  • Knowledge of Market Mix Models, Price & Promotion Analytics will be a big plus.
