Overview of the role:
The Space Planning Specialist plays a critical role in optimizing product placement and planograms across retail channels to drive visibility, shopper engagement, and sales growth. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Planogram Development: Design and maintain planograms for key retail accounts, ensuring compliance with category strategies and merchandising standards.
- Data Analysis: Utilize tools like Power BI and internal reporting systems to analyze sales and space performance, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Channel Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to align space planning initiatives with promotional calendars and trade strategies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and sustainability in reporting and planogram processes.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Nestlé merchandising guidelines and retailer requirements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in space planning, category management, or retail merchandising (FMCG experience preferred).
- Proficiency in planogram software (e.g., JDA, Apollo) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
