Position Summary

We are looking for a Transport Planner who will provide the tactical execution of the transportation team through load planning, load tendering, and load scheduling functions to meet internal and external customer expectations while ensuring efficient and cost-efficient transport operations.

A day in the life of...

• Efficiently plan, tender, and schedule deliveries using SAP TM system, covering all transportation scenarios (eg. direct, multi-stop, cross-dock, trans-shipment).
• Utilizes the TMS SAP TM system and published lanes & rates while balancing service and costs.
• Works to optimize warehouse and deployment schedules, carrier equipment, mode, lane costs, and on time delivery.
• Influences and holds Carriers/Warehouse/Customer Service/Supply Planning accountable for agreements.

What will make you successful

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• 1-2 years experience in transportation and logistics
• Load planning & SAP experience is a plus
• Proven skills in good customer service
• Developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially in Excel
