At least 2 years relevant and successful operational experience in one or more of the following:

- Warehouse Management

- Transportation

- Physical Logistics Projects

 

Relevant operational experience in the following areas is beneficial:

- Customer Service

- Demand & Supply Planning

- Transportation

- Warehousing

- Finance: Business Planning, budget control, cost management, opex

 

Experience in the management of projects such as:

- Distribution Network Redesign and optimization

- High Performance Logistics

- Customer Logistics

- Cost reduction (opex savings) 

 

Manage suppliers and coordinate with local authorities (Customs and Municipality) to ensure a smooth flow of containers to and from the Port. Elaborate and propose possible process improvement initiatives.                                          

Ensure that shuttling of full and empty containers to and from the Port happens efficiently and on time, as per the agreed daily plan.                                 

Ensure On Time Clearance of Imports or Exports shipments by sea.  Ensure compliance with the new requirements strictly by updating new Export regulations, Customs (WTO/ AFTA/ FTA), FDA, etc. which are implemented locally and at the receiving markets and closely monitoring logistic providers/customs brokers.                     

              

To proactively monitor the clearance performance and take the necessary actions when issues are detected.     

                                  

Maintain good rapport and communication with Areas like Regulatory Affairs and Legal Department to ensure compliance with local regulations (Customs, Health/Environmental regulations, Transportation).   

                                 

Ensure communication and collaboration with other functional departments (Transport, Warehousing, Factories, Operational Buyers) and between 3PLs for a quick reaction to urgencies or issues.
