Position Summary

We are seeking a Factory Analyst to join our Finance team at our Cambria Park Factory. Reporting to our Factory Controller, you will have responsibility for the timely and accurate analysis and interpretation of factory variances, the preparation of budgets and subsequent revisions.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

As the key finance support to the production teams, you will proactively drive potential cost improvements and recommend corrective actions through your sound knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
Coordinate reporting of actual costs and preparing for period-end close (PEC): preparation of input data such as labour hours and ensuring that the Costing Standards for Manufacturing (CSM) are followed.
Participate in business planning: assist the Factory Controller in preparing the inputs for the Budgets (SCB/ACE) and Dynamic Forecast (DF) including the challenge of assumptions, working with factory management and staff to gather information, assist with preparation of presentation and sign off with management.
Assist the Factory Controller in communicating financial results, opportunities and actions to all stakeholders across the organisation.


 

ARE YOU A FIT?

You will have an accounting degree with accounting experience, as well as working towards or be qualified with your CA or equivalent qualification.
Excellent communication skills and initiative are critical in this role, as you will need to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and PC skills (MS Office, Excel) are also essential. SAP experience and proven accounting experience within a food-manufacturing environment is preferable.  
Ideally 1-2 yrs industry experience.


Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have Permanent Residency.
