Position Snapshot

An opportunity currently exists for an Engineering Clerk to join our team based in our Cambria Park Factory in Manukau.  You will provide support to the engineering department with administrative and technical store tasks and activities.

Position Summary

This newly created role is hands-on; you will play an active role in the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives; ensuring our site electrical connections meet NZ standards and; manage our technical store.

•    Manage test and tag, ensuring electrical standards are maintained
•    Procurement
•    Enable world class maintenance by providing the right spare parts at the right time
•    Keeping the assets register up to date
•    Manage the technical store goods movement
•    Actively participate in site health, safety and environment initiatives

What will make you successful

•    Ideally you will have 2+ years experience in food processing or consumer good industry
•    Good attitude to work and ability to interact with peers
•    Good interpersonal skills and respect to teaching and coaching 
•    Demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills 
•    Must have good IT skills (Windows, SAP)
•    Experience using a forklift
•    Test and Tag certificate (preferred)

Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have Permanent Residency.
