At Nestle, we are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to oversee transactional processes and documentation for Direct Material Procurement and Claims. The primary responsibilities include ensuring timely supply of materials to the Factory, building strong relationships with vendors, and achieving high levels of supplier service. Additionally, participation in Material Sourcing initiatives is required to contribute to operational efficiency and product availability. Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement processes using Purchase Orders generated from approved Purchase Requisitions and Contracts.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from Suppliers.
- Maintain accuracy of procurement-related transactional data.
- Meet agreed service levels with internal stakeholders.
- Manage claims with Suppliers and escalate critical issues to Buyers to prevent invoice-related delays.
- Ensure accuracy of procurement-related transactional data.
- Deliver agreed service levels to internal stakeholders.
- Communicate the benefits and positive outcomes of the change to stakeholders to reinforce its value and importance.
Skills and responsibilities:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, corporate, cross functional and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- FMCG experience in Planning or Purchasing
- Strong understanding of Material Life Cycle and RIRO (run in run out) processes
- Project management & Management of Change skills
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, with SAP experience highly preferred
- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to effectively manage, analyse and process data to information/escalation using Excel, SAP and other sources
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Ability to see a bigger picture and connection with own and cross functional processes
