Position Summary

As the Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for upholding material control and accurate inventories, analyzing and improving inventory and process order variances, and ensuring adherence to operating standards. You will coordinate and lead month-end inventory and process order close procedures. You will also be responsible for participating in and guiding continuous improvement activities.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of material control including developing and implementing processes and procedures to track material usage, material usage variances, unknown losses, and safeguard the assets of the company.
  • Responsible for the resolution of inventory issues for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Manage fixed assets from creation to disposal.
  • Responsible for completion of reporting and analysis of inventory to management team weekly/monthly.
  • Participate in annual budgeting process, including completing the raw material and packaging budget.

 

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience in related accounting field
  • 1+ years’ experience in inventory control

 

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
