Position Summary

 

As a Processing Operator, you will assist in the coordination and monitoring of day-to-day activities of the Engineer Litter Department, which will include troubleshooting, lubrication, adjustments, and preventative maintenance on equipment.

 

  • Ability to operate all equipment associated with Process II in accordance with safety, quality and production standards and requirements.
  • Perform Quality Testing on Dry screen, Pin Mixer, Wet Seed, & Bentonite.
  • Assist Process II and Maintenance to do preventative maintenance on dryer equipment.
  • Monitor and control the process of Engineer Litter.
  • Start-up and shutdown of process/dryer equipment and assist maintenance when necessary. Report all potential breakdowns and malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain personal safety, quality product, equipment and efficient operations. Communicates with Process I, Q.A. and Packaging Departments.
  • Data Entry in SAP and WIN SPC
  • Other duties as required by supervision, none of which will require a physical or mental ability, which is not already needed to perform other duties specifically listed.

 

Must be available and able to work required overtime and weekend work in addition to normally scheduled work shift.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, oil field, military or related environment
  • 1+ years’ experience operating a forklift

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $26.92. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
