Position Summary

 

The Sanitation Helper is responsible for supporting overall plant cleanliness and recycling processes by safely handling recyclable materials, assisting production teams when needed, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe operations, efficient material flow, and compliance with facility sanitation standards.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recycle raw materials from packaging lines and empty recyclable material bins across the plant.
  • Provide backup support for Material Supplier roles (L1–L4) during absences or vacations.
  • Move paper and plastic sacks to the baler and operate baling equipment.
  • Use the rotozip tool to cut cardboard sheets, create pallet covers and assist with sorting recyclable materials.
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

 

Must be available and able to work required overtime and weekends in addition to your normally scheduled work shift.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position starts at a probationary pay rate of $25.03 an hour for Sanitation Helper. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
