Position summary
As Nespresso Financial Planning & Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making within the organization. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with the Centre requirements, and providing valuable financial information to stakeholders and management.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales reporting: You’ll prepare the periodic sales reporting  (eg. Daily, monthly)
  • Financial Reporting: You’ll prepare the management reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Data Analysis: You’ll analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. This involves reviewing revenue and expense figures, conducting variance analysis, and comparing actual results against budgets or forecasts.
  • Building budgets and forecasts: You’ll create annual budgets and forecasts for Departments.
  • Variance analysis: You’ll compare budgets and forecasts against actual results to explain discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: You’ll work on identifying opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency. This may involve implementing automation tools, optimizing data collection methods, or enhancing reporting templates.
  • Period End Closing (PEC): You’ll prepare the files for the PEC and ensure that all the processes are adequately done
  • Internal Controls: You’ll perform internal control to ensure adherence to the processes and compliance.

A day in the life…

  • Perform all Period End closing Activities (Accruals, reconciliation etc) and rock solid reporting during PEC
  • Support all stakeholders in the monthly Dynamic Forecast (DF) process
  • Support   the business in the implementation of the various Nespresso in the Market Projects 
  • Ensuring accurate, transparent, consistent, and timely reporting submissions, in full compliance with Nestle Accounting Standards.
  • Ensure system readiness (Nessoft-SAP Hana-Snowflake), maintaining and updating all parameters

 

What makes you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required; Excel skills must be at least at an advanced level
  • Strong data analytics capabilities and PowerBi will be considered a significant plus
  • Ability to multitask, work both independently and cross-functionally
  • Curiosity, team player, sense of ownership
