Position Summary
The Pharmaceutical Merchandiser at Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) is responsible to promote products and ensure that they are presented effectively to customers. He/she will be responsible for managing the display and promotion of NHSc products in pharmacies. This role involves collaborating with pharmacy staff, ensuring optimal product placement, and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.

A day in the life

  • Product Display: Arrange and maintain attractive displays NHSc brands, to maximize visibility and appeal to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory management, and ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Sales Promotion: Implement promotional strategies and campaigns to boost sales of NHSc Brands & Products in focus, including the implementation of secondary displays, planograms creation, all in-store & outdoor activation.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to pharmacy staff on product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
  • Market Analysis: Gather intelligence from the market on consumer preferences, customer profile per pharmacy in order to apply more targeted Merchandising Strategies
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to provide information about food supplements, answer questions, and address any concerns, providing on-shelf training & category management services.
  • Reporting: Track sales performance and provide feedback to management regarding product performance on Key Account pharmacies. 

 

What will make you successful
Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or sales, preferably within the food supplement or pharmaceutical industry.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Knowledge of food supplements and health products is an advantage.
•    Understanding of inventory management and sales reporting
•    Excellent organizational skills.
•    Customer-focused with strong sales capabilities.
