Position summary
As a Statutory and Reporting Controller you'll play a vital role in our organization by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You'll be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with internal and statutory accounting standards and regulations.
A day in the life…
- Participate in the preparation of interim / annual statutory reporting under IFRS and Greek GAAP
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
- Perform accounting activities for leases and employee benefits (IAS 17 & 19)
- Participate in the preparation of ad hoc management requests and external statistical reports
- Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data
- Assist the Business Controllers with preparing and monitoring budgets
- Maintain and control Balance Sheet and general ledger accounts
- Liaise with statutory and tax auditors
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies
- Participate in challenging projects as part of a cross-functional team
What makes you successful
- BSc or MSc level degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or other related discipline
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multinational company
- SAP knowledge is required
- Advanced knowledge of Excel/ PowerPoint and other data analysis/ visualization applications
- Strong research and data analytics capabilities
- Strong accounting, interpersonal and results-focused skills
