YOUR OPPORTUNITY

 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Food Safety Coordinator to work in our Marton Factory. As an integral member of the site’s Quality Assurance team, this role will offer unique challenges, with the support and opportunities of a global market leader.

 

Working as part of a close-knit team we are looking for someone who is up for a challenge, whether it’s supporting a colleague or working on a project, your days will be varied.  Specifically you will be responsible for leading the Food Safety Management System, including the effective implementation of all its elements. In addition, co-ordinate Supplier audits, manage Lab activities and facilitates HACCP studies for all new and existing products, compliance with Nestlé and any regulatory standards.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the Food Safety Management System verification to ensure compliance to ISO 22000,  ISO 9001 and other standards.
  • Co-ordinate the food safety activities under the direction of the Compliance Manager
  • Co-ordinates/plans/participates in the Factory HACCP and Supplier Audit program ensuring completion
  • Manage and perform Lab testing of raw materials and maintain lab compliance.
  • Ensure effective implementation of CCP and OPRP programs
  • Manage Raw Material risk assessments through HACCP reviews
  • Participate and lead factory GMP and Internal Audit Program
  • Maintain site safety, health & environment standards by ensuring personal responsibility for yourself and for others.
  • Ensure optimum support to the Operational Review processes
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs to employees to enhance quality awareness

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

As a passionate advocate for food safety and quality, you will engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to positively reinforce the food safety agenda.

 

You will have a degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or Microbiology, with experience in the food manufacturing industry. HACCP experience and a continuous improvement mindset will see you succeed in this role.
