YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join us at our Marton factory. Reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities would include:

• Enter minimum 80% of time on site to work orders through time confirmations.
• Fill out correct information in breakdown work orders (PM01’s) including breakdown duration. – This allows correct assignment of time in SAM.
• Time confirm & TECO work orders when done – no later than the end of (same) shift
• Raise work notifications for all maintenance related issues identified which cannot be resolved immediately.
• Test your work. Ensure equipment is ready for production when finished, communicate if not.
• Book parts from the store in the correct manner prior to removing them from the store.
• Update maintenance plan (on DER wall) on daily basis before end of shift.
• Prepare and provide a comprehensive handover at end of shift, if required.
• Handover content should be all issues unresolved at end of shift and major issues during the shift.
• Dayshift workers to add to handover in same manner.
• Be an active participant in the daily engineering review process
• Be currently working on at least one improvement activity which can include BDA, Neschange, unplanned stop project, procedure review, 5S etc. If the current activity is stalled or finished, find or ask for another.
• Be actively involved and proactive in TPM implementation in the factory.
• Work with operators to build their competence in caring for equipment. Includes helping them develop routines like CIL, building their knowledge of the equipment & assisting with writing good quality tags.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Sound knowledge and adherence to AS/NZ 3000 and relevant ISO standards
• Have current electrical licence (electrical only)
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Preferred
