We currently have an exciting opportunity within Nestle Purina Petcare for a Project Engineer on a 2-year fixed term contract to join the Marton Factory, the home of TUX.

A day in the life…

• Manage and / or perform the design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, within the defined scope of responsibility or specialisation.
• Ensure objectives of the investment project charter, design and specifications and Nestle standards are implemented and adhered to.
• Support the End-to-End Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project.
• Execute the basic and detailed design of the project and ensure by design the workers, and operators, safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.
• Ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented and coordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plant design, drawings, ITPs, and risk assessments.

What will make you successful

• Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management in manufacturing with capital investment projects development and implementation in food industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Proven experience in leading and coordinating diverse teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to achieve project objectives.
