Senior Warehouse Operator

At Nestlé Purina PetCare we are proud to be at the leading edge in excellent Pet nutrition. We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Warehouse Operator based at our Nestlé Purina PetCare Marton Factory.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Senior Warehouse Operator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the team of warehouse operators and setting a high-performance standard in all warehouse practices, behaviors and processes
• Planning and controlling daily works for all inbound/outbound processes, put a-ways and staging
• Follow up on warehouse capacity and resources
• Trucks ordering and coordination with a third-party
• Documents preparation for outbound movements
• Control and blockage of damaged goods in a warehouse
• CHEP pallets monthly reconciliation
• Close cooperation with customer service team, planners and material handling experts on customer orders fulfillments, stock transfers and SAP transactions
• Become a material handling SAP superuser
• Container loading and unloading
• Safe forklift operation
• Pallet loading and stacking, material picking
• Inventory control

A good level of fitness is needed as the role requires some manual handling.

The successful applicant will have effective communication, interpersonal, numeracy and literacy skills, attention to detail and initiative, and can effectively contribute in an autonomous team environment. Experience within a warehouse environment, competency in using computer systems, experience using ERP (SAP or equivalent) and RF scanners is preferred.  A current OSH approved fork hoist certificate and experience operating Reach Truck and Counterbalanced Hoists is essential.
