We are seeking a Supply Chain Line Manager to join our team at the Marton Purina Factory. This role ensures Safety, Quality and Performance objectives are met across Supply Chain operations by coordinating warehouse activities and resources. You will work closely with Customer Services, Supply Planners and the Supply Chain Manager to support efficient operations and deliver key business outcomes. 

 

A day in the Life…

 

  • Set and lead high standards for safety, quality and GMP across the warehouse, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Lead and engage the warehouse team, planning daily work, setting clear priorities and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and freshness, including receipting, cycle counts, stocktakes, returns, damage tracking and aged stock.
  • Ensure materials are available and ready for Production, with timely receipting, quality checks and efficient internal supply of raw and packaging materials.
  • Manage storage and dispatch operations, ensuring materials are clearly identified, correctly stored and finished goods are dispatched accurately and on time to local and export destinations.
  • Drive efficient and compliant warehouse operations by managing equipment and pallet control, keeping documentation and audits on track, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

What will make you successful: 

 

  • Proven ability to apply practical problem‑solving and continuous improvement tools in day‑to‑day operations
  • Strong people leadership experience, including leading teams, developing capability and managing performance in a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Experience working in a Lean or improvement‑focused environment (desirable)
  • Solid understanding of warehouse, factory and production flows
  • Hands‑on experience with inventory management, including stock accuracy and controls
  • Experience working with materials handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, warehouse equipment)
  • Strong systems capability, ideally with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Previous warehouse supervisory experience and/or a relevant tertiary qualification
