Position Summary:
Human Resources Intern will gain exposure to the Human Resources function by supporting employee lifecycle processes and various departmental projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn key HR Business Partner activities to gain a foundational understanding of the day in the life of an HR Generalist.
- Support HR projects, including a final presentation to the Leadership Team with recommendation of findings.
- Execute strategic project work across several key HR disciplines including digital improvements, organizational development, and training support. Specifically focusing on the projects listed below:
- Training Records Retention & Digitization Project
- NDC Marysville New Hire Resources Website
- Form Flow Process Improvement Project
- Tracking Log for Record Retention Project
- iLearn Project Support
Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)
- Must be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Communication, Industrial Psychology)
- Full-time, paid opportunity
- Basic understanding of human resources functions
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
