Nestlé R&D Center, Inc. seeks Manager Project Engineering (multiple positions) in Marysville, Ohio

 

Duties: Provide leadership and administrative oversight in the planning, implementation, and management of multiple site capital projects, providing day to day management and professional oversight of a team of engine. Prepare, review, and integrate planning, programming, design, and construction policies and procedures with project development in accordance with company engineering guidelines. Propose and control the site’s capital investment plans and related capital expenditures. Oversee and provide leadership in the preparation of project plans, construction bid documents, and specifications. Supervise Project Engineers and other support staff, as assigned to the group, to include work allocation, training and problem

resolution, motivation, and performance evaluation. Provide technical leadership, oversight, and support to subordinate Project Engineers. Manage the preparation of and reviews project plans, construction bid documents, and specifications. Participate in the development of annual capex budgets. Oversee and supervise utilities and electrical compliance. Ensure utilities efficiency and sustainability for the site. Manage compliance with the coffee roasters safety. Monitor and review the activities of subordinates to ensure operational cost-effectiveness, compliance with project timelines and requirements, and maintenance of performance and quality standards. Ensure the overall design and construction work of external consultants and contractors are consistent with contract specifications and all relevant regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

 

Salary: $132500 - $142500 per year

 

Requirements:

 

Job requires 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, or related occupation within the food processing industry. Required experience must include all of the following: 7 years of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering projects within the food processing industry; 5 years of experience in project management within the context of health, safety, and environmental regulations; 5 years of experience in managing procurement and contracts in a food processing project environment; 3 years of experience in food processing plants and food processing technology; 3 years of experience in leadership managing teams within a food processing environment; 3 years of experience in CAPEX budgeting, preparation, and prioritization.
