Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor leads the Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation team in delivering dependable electrical and mechanical services to the site to enable innovation, establishes and optimizes maintenance programs, and provides technical support to the site to ensure Nestlé and regulatory standards are followed.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the maintenance of the site electrical and mechanical systems
• Supervise operational maintenance technicians
• Stay current on regulatory and Nestlé standards
• Work with maintenance planner and lead technician to schedule work for technicians
• Serve as the final authority on who is qualified/authorized to work on, or access equipment and installations
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance work orders
• Monitor and optimize maintenance and repair costs versus budgets
• Manage services according to Nestlé accounting, procurement, and AMM programs
• Identify and manage key performance indicators
• Manage and develop technical competencies for maintenance staff
• Manage calibration program
• Bid, award, and manage mechanical and electrical contractors for process maintenance and improvement projects
• Work with technical store to ensure proper spare parts management as per company standards
• Ensure maintenance plans are entered for new equipment
• Drive and lead maintenance and reliability activities through breakdown analysis, five-why methodology, etc.
• Identify, test, and procure predictive maintenance tools, including monitoring tools
• Function as a member of SHE Permit to Work team to continuously improve the permitting process and awareness
Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge):
• BS in Industrial Engineering or Automation Engineering preferred, but degree is not required
• 3+ years of experience supervising a process manufacturing maintenance team required
• Strong training and development experience preferred
• General maintenance knowledge required
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage multiple groups
• Experience in electrical and automation systems preferred
