Position Summary

 

As an Accounting Coordinator, you will provide administrative support for the Accounting department with a focus towards materials accounting. You will create, maintain and review master recipes and periodic data review for accuracy and reconciliation. In this role, you will work individually and cross-functionally to research  discrepancies between plant floor systems versus SAP and provide resolutions on addressing top material variances. You will consider areas of opportunity  to mitigate and prevent future variances through process improvement methodology, and support plant initiatives of quality, safety, and production with in their line of influence. 

 

  • Act as the Material Data Expert for material accounting functions
  • Build/Maintain Master Data: bill of materials (BOMs), resources, master recipes, production versions and other necessary change
  • Continual data reconciliation for budget compliance
  • Execute daily review for inventory balance discrepancies between the plant floor systems and SAP
  • Escalate, address, or communicate concerns for top loss items in a timely manner to  key stakeholders
  • Monitor bin management of bulk ingredients and review bin cut-off reports for compliance
  • Review material variances weekly and distribute to orders/materials accordingly
  • Complete weekly liquid ingredient inventory reconciliations and book variances

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of material accounting or inventory control experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $41,779 to $52,833. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
