Position Summary


As a Controls Technician, you’ll provide additional controls group coverage across all shifts, ensure adequate coverage during plant startups, and assist Controls Technical Specialists.  

 

  • Provide technical support for the safe operation of plant electrical infrastructure, safety systems, control systems, variable frequency drives, and operator interfaces.  
  • Provide calibration and tuning services. 
  • Provide support for systems, safety, security, policy, procedure, and drawing integrity. 
  • Support corporate and division Engineering and IT personnel with maintenance and installation of plant and corporate controls initiatives. 
  • Adhere to all Safety and NPPC manufacturing systems guidelines. 

 

Requirements  

  • High School Diploma / GED 
  • 1+ years of applicable experience in electronics, electricity, and electrical troubleshooting and working knowledge of automation systems and plant power distribution systems 

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $38.70. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
