Position Summary

 

As a Staff Engineer, you will investigate and resolve plant operational concerns and identify opportunities for continuously improving processes, productivity, safety and efficiency. You will assist with the design, estimation and execution of plant capital projects. In this role, you will proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.

 

  • Spearhead operational optimization through planned equipment maintenance and facility improvements as well as timely troubleshooting of manufacturing systems
  • Direct the installation of new equipment and automation enhancements and provide training for plant personnel
  • Monitor outside contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including safety, quality and cost control
  • Support maintenance team leaders and provide engineering assistance as needed
  • Provide utilities management expertise to ensure energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and compliance

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
