We are seeking a dynamic CDT & Channel Manager to elevate our retail sales function. In this key leadership role, you will develop & leverage our category growth drivers to shape our retail strategy as well as drive alternate channels including cross-border collaboration to enhance our operations, gaining valuable exposure to the Oceania leadership team.

 

Based in Melbourne, you will lead a talented team, ensuring seamless integration across various functions. Your leadership will drive innovation, enhance customer engagement, and improve sales performance, enabling you to take on a broad leadership role and make a significant impact within a recognized organization.

 

A day in the Life…

 

  • A member of Nestle Health Science Oceania Leadership Team.
  • Drive category and channel strategy for retail brands by leveraging market insights to enhance performance and identify key market growth opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other functions to enhance shopper engagement, optimize portfolio, pricing and promotions, to drive sustainable sales growth across all our brands, leveraging strategic revenue management principles.
  • Lead the business planning process by promoting cross-functional collaboration and aligning opportunities with overall business strategies.
  • Support business development by assisting the BDM team in reaching sales growth objectives, both domestically and internationally.
  • Provide valuable insights and planning support to the sales operations team to drive effective decision-making
  • Work closely with marketing & finance on new concepts and driving excellence in execution for new launches


What will make you successful: 

 

  • 8+ years of commercial experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a solid understanding of market dynamics.
  • Previous experience in sales and or marketing is essential to effectively drive business growth.
  • A proven track record of successfully achieving key commercial KPIs.
  • A strong understanding of key business functions, including commercial, finance, technical, and supply chain.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • A successful history of developing and mentoring team members to help them reach their full potential.
  • In-depth knowledge of customer dynamics in both retail and distribution sectors, enabling you to build strong relationships and drive customer engagement.
