We have an exciting opportunity to join the Nestlé Infant Nutrition team as a Nutrition Advisor based in Melbourne, VIC. Your role includes actively building relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in East and South-Eastern Melbourne and providing factual & scientific information to those HCPs about our products and infant feeding. Our goal is to be the trusted and recognised leader in early life nutrition.
TRAVEL
You will be responsible for managing the portfolio in East and South-Eastern Melbourne. Due to the nature of this role, it is important that you are comfortable spending time on the road with regular travel.
Please note that to visit your customers, you must have a current Australian unrestricted driver’s license.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...
In this role, you will report directly to our National Medical Operations Manager. As the subject matter expert for various paediatric healthcare professionals within both community and hospital channels, you will be responsible for:
- Covering a database of HCPs in East and South-Eastern Melbourne independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals.
- Identifying, engaging and managing relationships with key Health Care Professionals (HCPs) using a variety of engagement channels.
- Providing factual & scientific information to HCPs on innovative scientific concepts and new developments in infant nutrition, our heritage and science leadership in Nutrition and the superiority of our products for formula-fed babies, with respect to nutrition, quality and value.
- Staying knowledgeable on the nutrition category and our compliance obligations and walking the talk as a true brand ambassador.
- Becoming a trusted source of factual & scientific information about infant nutrition for HCPs, building knowledge of our products.
- Manage hospital accounts ensuring ranging of our products.
- Building the image of infant nutrition products within this region.
- Organising educational events with health care professionals on topics related to infant nutrition.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition/Dietetics or Health Sciences
- Accredited Practising Dietitian desirable
- Good knowledge in paediatric nutrition
- Advanced practical nutritional skills and experience in detailing nutrition/pharmaceutical products desirable
- Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Enthusiasm and passion for our products and dedication to building long-lasting business relationships
- Sales or business development experience advantageous
- Valid Australian unrestricted driver's license required.
