Accountant 

Main Purpose of Job
Assist the F&C Manager/Supervisor in performing a wide range of accounting, treasury and internal control transactions/activities in accordance with IFRS/local accounting principles and company policies

A DAY IN THE LIFE … 
Support accurate, transparent, consistent and timely Financial Accounting records and reporting submissions, ensuring compliance with NAS and other corporate and legal standards.
Compliance with all company & local legal, tax and Audit requirements while optimizing structural set-up /risk profile.
Support fixed assets and stock activities
Work as One Team with NBS Cairo to manage stable and first time quality AP, AR and Accounting operations.  Participate in route cause analysis and best practice improvement activities and close gaps. Effective relationship management with shared services to manage quality.
Manage daily cash collection activities in coordination with NTC 
Supervise local taxation activities and ensure correct and accurate take filing is done

ARE YOU A FIT? 
University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
Prior Accounting experience (e.g. : Account Receivable, Account Payable, Accounting Operations) preferrable
Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience
Proficiency in English and language of the market (where appl.)
1. Core knowledge of the 10 Corporate Business Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility
2. Good understanding of the Nestlé Strategic Blueprint(s), and the country's positioning behind that strategy
3. Thorough understanding of Accounting Operations
4. General understanding of business environment and competition
5. Understanding of product portfolio and brands
6. General understanding of value creation process and business processes
7. Solid understanding of internal controls and the GLOBE best practices & systems supporting these E2E processes
8. Thorough knowledge of local and Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS)
9. Good knowledge of local tax legislation and general parameters of corporate legal environment
