Position Summary

Responsible for all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), macro and day-to-day operational management of Integrated Facility Management Service delivery with the contracted Service Providers; leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in wellness & health programs and zero accidents/incidents; delivering sustainable long-term cost savings and implementing value creating measures in facilities & projects management.

Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)

  • Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of Nestlé Business Services SHE strategy & program. Recommend site SHE objectives considering Market and IBS objectives.  Monitor and communicate on performance to improve decision making regarding SHE and to integrate SHE into business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to SHE, including Continuous Improvements, Total Productive Maintenance, LEAN, Nestlé Environmental Management System & Nestlé Safety Management System.  Ensure compliance with SHE-related legal requirements. Develop and sustain a local network (including authorities, other factories, etc).
  • Implement, control, maintain and improve NBS SHE Management systems including achieving and maintaining ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certification. Support this through developing and implementing specific tools and initiatives as part of the site's SHE program.
  • Provide coaching & support to the NBS Management team in order to achieve the site's SHE objectives and to ensure SHE becomes / remains a people management responsibility. Ensure that SHE performance data is available and correctly managed. Promote the awareness of SHE.
  • Endeavor the site's Health & Wellness programs for employees.
  • Champion NBS SHE risk assessment program, including assessment, incident investigation, corrective action and auditing.
  • Manages the site clinic operations, ensuring the service providers compliance to Department of Labor and Employment, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OSHAS) requirements. Reviews existing processes and procedures to put a continual clinic services improvement to employees with efficient cost and budget.
  • Manages the site's physical security compliance and support Market objectives on security programs.


Facilities Management

  • Works with the Nestlé-in-the-Market (NiM) IFM Lead – assist (where appropriate within the ASSIGNED SERVICE CATEGORY) in the development of relevant IFM Solutions (based on the NGBS Outsourcing Program) – adapt the most suitable value-adding solution(s) for the Site’s benefits and operations.
  • Establishes the Site’s IFM Annual Budget based on the agreed Gross Maximum Prices of the Service Partners – ensures adherence to the Budget – monitors and controls budgets allocated (OPL and CAPEX Budget) together with F&C. 
  • Manages the Service Partner’s over-all day to day operations and service delivery performance – Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on technical standards and Nestle Policies questions.
  • Implements the contractual operational governance model of all the Service Partners - including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), Monthly/Annual Reporting, NiM ACCORD Compliance and approved Tracking Tools.
  • Resolves service delivery conflicts and escalates unresolved issues to the Market IFM Lead and/or Site/Greater Manila Area Distribution Center (GMADC) Head.
  • Endeavors Enercon programs in the site including regular reviews with the Building Maintenance Services provider for continuous review and improvement of  Preventive, Corrective, Predictive maintenance plans for the site's electrical, mechanical, civil , plumbing utilities. Align with the building owner, Market Technical Division Engineering & IFM Lead on programs.
  • Manages and implements planning to execution phases of center projects driven by compliance, improvement and/or expansion (based on NGBS & NiM center plans for the center) inclusive of technical analysis, proposals and safe execution.

What will make you successful

  • University Degree level education, MBA, or equivalent 
  • Proven experience in SHE, Employee Relations and Compliance, and IFM
  • Background in LEAN, EMS and SMS
  • Exposure is OSHAS and ISO
  • Experience leading teams across the business
  • Prior success in project management, change management, analytical skills, and business partnering
  • Demonstrable business acumen and ability to communicate effectively across various levels in the business
  • Ability to have big picture view and prioritize as well as have an eye for detail
  • Exceptional communication skills in a high-level business setting
