A day in the life of...

RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives the Business Continuity initiatives of the Shared Service Center (SSC) by leading activities related to the development, maintenance, testing, and assessment of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• To be the main contact person of the SSC in all BCP activities and/or initiatives. Possible strategies and solutions are diligently pursued thru brainstorming sessions with relevant parties.
• Provide Crisis Management Plan to outline the processes to be used by Nestle Business Services (NBS) Manila to respond to a critical situation in the event of an actual business stopping incident.
• Develop NBS Manila disaster recovery (e.g., IT and non-IT scenarios) and crisis management strategy in terms of communication, execution, planning through alignment with Nestle Global Business Services (NGBS)
• Report the Business Continuity Status of the Business Streams to the management
• Prepare high-level overall plan for all the BCP activities of the Center and ensure collaboration with business streams and market alignment in achieving key milestones
• Perform annual Enterprise Risk Management for both day and night shift operations to ensure Business, and ensure follow-through of actions
• To provide direction to the business in the development of BCP strategies aligned with the NGBS Business Continuity Management Handbook
• Conduct training on Business Continuity concepts, methodologies, and best practices to support the development of BCP capability of identified employees.
Ensure all employees are familiar with the relevant provisions of the Business Continuity plans.
Train internal and external partners to ensure center BCP readiness of NBS Manila
• Periodically review and update BCP-related documentation under the direct responsibility of the Center BCP Team
Drive the review and update of the E2E-BCP-related documentations
• Test and Verify applicability and robustness of the Business Continuity Plan and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct post-incident reviews, develop lessons learned and track mitigation plans
• Ensure readiness thru the execution of other periodic BCP maintenance tasks

What will make you successful

• Minimum 5 years work experience in business continuity, crisis management or disaster recovery
• Experience in Shared Service Center operations would be an advantage
High Exposure on the following activities:
• Strategy
• Selling an idea to management supported by relevant data
• Project Tracking
• Problem solving
• Collaboration with all the business streams
• Frequent presentations, meeting facilitation, task delegation and minute taking
• Graduate of  Technical / Science / Engineering Course
• MBA degree desired but not required
• Strong work commitment, achievement focus and ability to meet work deadlines
• Ability & willingness to travel overseas
