A day in the life of...

The Cloud Risk & Compliance Associate is responsible for ensuring that all cloud solutions utilized by the market for business purposes have undergone the proper assessment and compliance checks. This role involves creating market reports, reviewing cloud solution usage, and investigating unregistered cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate market reports and review the usage of cloud solutions from the Cloud Discovery Tool.
• Identify and mark solutions as "Under Investigation" for further analysis.
• Work with the FRM to investigate unregistered cloud applications to determine if they are used for business or personal purposes.
• Update the Application Investigation / Exclusion list based on findings.
• Execute the Cloud Compliance Process for market-specific cloud solutions.
• Work with vendors to implement fixes for public cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with IT Application Owners/Business Owners to create remediation plans for any identified missing controls.

What will make you successful

• Good understanding of Cloud Computing systems, concepts, their benefits and risk.

   - High-level understanding of cloud hosting and able to differentiate type of cloud computing services SaaS/IaaS/PaaS.

   - High-level understanding of different cloud types:      

Public/Private/Hybrid/Community Cloud.

• Experience with effective communication with market SPOCs, English.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Regional and Global Product team and market cloud SPOCs.

• Good analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English, both written and verbal

• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
