Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Master Data (CMD) Specialist to support the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of customer master data within SAP and related systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with ERP systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality data through a "First Time Right" approach.

As a CMD Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable customer information that supports order processing, billing, reporting, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

A Day in the Life

• Create, maintain, and update customer master records in SAP and other business systems.
• Review and validate customer data requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies, inconsistencies, and master data issues.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve data accuracy.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to master data management standards and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations.
• Monitor data quality metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Manage large volumes of customer data while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer master data processes and operational effectiveness.

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in Customer Master Data, Master Data Management, Data Administration, Shared Services, or related functions.
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, data validation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data governance or master data management processes.
• Knowledge of customer onboarding, order management, or business operations.
• Experience identifying and driving process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, controls, and compliance requirements.
