A day in the life of...

Provides business decision support to management through periodic cost analysis reports. Performs update of dynamic forecast for market communications and manages creation ‘til Annual Financial Budget.

Business Partnering

  • Monthly analysis of actual cost against comparable benchmark per stream.
  • Identification of key focus areas for cost reduction initiatives
  • Gap analysis against comparable of last year to hit cost target
  • Subject matter expert to operational streams on cost related queries

Budget

  • Manages budget creation process end to end (OPL and CAPEX).
  • Prepare necessary pre-requisites including timeline, templates and measure to launch budget cycle on a yearly basis. Monitor compliance to set schedule and proactively plan in case delays in receiving inputs from operations.
  • Consolidate financial and operational data inputs to NBS total budget and apply cost allocation procedures for overhead.
  • Conduct regular meeting to coordinate and align with key cost centre owners on their budget proposals and provide financial support if needed.
  • Liaise with GNBS counterpart on overall budget cycle.
  • Ensure timely and accurate update of budget in SAP (OPL and CAPEX).

What Will Make You Successful?

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Finance and Control; CPA license is preferred
  • With advanced working knowledge in SAP or MS Applications
  • Has the ability to interpret results of analysis and recommend actions
  • With working knowledge in SAP or MS Applications
  • Has a critical degree of accuracy and analysis in creating financial reports
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solid business results.
  • Willing to adjust shift schedule as demanded by the business
