A DAY IN THE LIFE …

As the Ocean Hub Transport Monitoring Supervisor, you will lead and manage the Ocean Hub Transport Monitoring Team to ensure end-to-end orchestration and optimal execution of ocean container movements across markets served by Nestlé Business Solutions. You will help ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective ocean freight operations while strengthening visibility, service, resilience, and standardized ways of working.

• Lead end-to-end ocean transport monitoring to support the timely delivery of stock based on Nestlé Markets requirements.
• Manage service performance across ocean transport operations, ensuring shipment visibility, data accuracy, execution reliability, and effective resolution of operational and managerial escalations.
• Lead a large-scale operational team within an above-market shared service environment, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Drive structured continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and service quality, including the identification, standardization, and deployment of best practices.
• Embed knowledge management and structured learning across the team to strengthen operational capabilities and consistency.
• Leverage digital logistics platforms, technology, and data to improve visibility, decision-making, operational efficiency, data integrity, and business continuity.
• Ensure adherence to global processes, standards, governance frameworks, and applicable Nestlé Business Solutions, market, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders, including Nestlé Markets, Procurement, carriers, logistics service providers, and senior leadership.
• Contribute to the Nestlé Business Solutions Ocean Hub network through collaboration, alignment, and knowledge exchange.
• Support the onboarding and expansion of services, including transition, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Develop team capabilities through structured training, coaching, and talent development while supporting effective resource allocation and workforce planning.
• Support organizational adaptability as processes, technologies, operating models, and structures continue to evolve.

ARE YOU A FIT?

• 4–5+ years of significant experience in ocean freight operations.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end ocean freight processes, including allocation, booking, execution, and settlement.
• Proven experience managing operational teams.
• Experience managing operational escalations and disruptions.
• Experience working with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across markets, service providers, and business functions.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement, service transitions, or operational change initiatives.
• Experience working with digital logistics platforms and using data to support operational decision-making.
• Ability to support governance, process adherence, and compliance requirements within ocean freight operations.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while supporting organizational and operational change.
