A DAY IN THE LIFE …

This role handles Risk and Insurance related activities for the market. It collaborates with Treasury in the Center and collaborates with the market as to insurance values and claims management. The role scope also includes coordination with the other center stakeholders and third party insurers. It drives and implements initiatives related to Treasury and Insurance

 

Key Outputs:

 

  • Prepare insurance calculation for renewal, including reporting and uploading to the Ventiv tool
  • Prepare insurance premium forecast to business units
  • Handle claims and follow-up and review to ensure proper documentation is in place. Attend to insurance queries.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all necessary data, meet all internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for the Certificate of Insurance (COI) management for all business units and upon request when the 3rd parties require a copy of the COI
  • Responsible for invoice posting management and payment tracking related to Insurance Premium. Such activity includes sending the invoices received from providers to S2P for posting and payment and early payment request due to criticality of the timing of the payment for business process.
  • Prepare the premium allocation file per line of business and per company code. And responsible for amortization process of prepaid insurances (JV and MI creation, Amortization tracker update etc.)
  • Responsible for the data gathering, creation of working file, analysis of changes and PowerBI submissions of property values to be declared
  • Confirmation and validations of all locations' address and ownership.
  • Ensuring the correct premium forecast for Y+1 by calculating the expected values using the premium rate increased provided by the GRS Vevey team.
  • Addresses escalated Insurance issues and complaints from the Market and works with the GRS Team in providing analysis and resolution.
  • Conducts regular calls, debriefs and workstream reviews with the markets and other departments, including identification of improvement opportunities and mitigation measures.
  • Archive, maintenance, reporting and reminder management for all GRS documents (Policies/Contracts, Reports, Presentation, Invoices, Surveys etc.)
  • Drive center-level and local-level initiatives such as emerging services, process improvements and automations

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or preferably a CPA.
  • Experience in a cross-functional, and multicultural environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address and influence internal and external customers;
  • Knowledge in SAP and MS Applications
  • Adaptability to change in fast-paced environment;
  • Inclined to Continuous Improvement.
  • Analytical mindset, ability to understand the story behind the data.
  • Team player
  • High tolerance to stress, personal time management
  • Adaptability to cope in fast-paced environment
  • Able to build strong professional relationship
