Position Summary

 

Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. With an unwavering commitment to quality and safety, our factory plays a pivotal role in serving a vast region as we drive the future of pet treat innovation. As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you’ll effectively and efficiently communicate, facilitate, and prioritize all maintenance activities within your area. This position requires working closely with other supply groups, particularly Quality and Operations, to ensure consistent product quality, productivity, and safety. 

 

  • Work as a team member within the maintenance department to improve the total reliability of the plant.
  • Understand maintenance principles and develop self and department work practices to promote a proactive environment.
  • Prioritize all maintenance activities such as unplanned work orders, continuous improvement activities, and operational preventative maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot routine and non-routine issues and direct maintenance team resources towards achieving safe, timely, and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Use effective shift communications.  Attend and lead on maintenance issues in shift overlaps, quality reviews, and daily meetings as required.
  • Train technicians in safe operating procedures including continued input as appropriate regarding safety. Provide input to any investigation for area of responsibility.

The current shift option for this role is Monday through Friday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.***

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND 4+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, military or related environment.

OR

  • Industrial Electricity degree or similar trade school certificate AND 2+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, military or related environment. 

 

The hourly pay rate for this position is $33.53. Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
