POSITION SUMMARY
Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. With an unwavering commitment to quality and safety, our factory plays a pivotal role in serving a vast region as we drive the future of pet treat innovation. As a Line Leader, you’ll provide effective leadership and coordination for assigned operations. While upholding the plant policies, procedures, and reporting, you’ll help maintain safety, quality, and production standards. By ensuring the line production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements, you will help our team meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environmental needs, striving towards Manufacturing Excellence.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through engagement to strive for zero accidents
- Strive for zero defects through continuous improvement activities to reduce quality upsets
- Lead and motivate team in the achievement of their objectives
- Maximize production yields, plan for future capacity, and maintain flexibility in the production operations needed due to the variance of raw materials received
- Drive Continuous Improvement efforts across the factory
- Manage production through operational reviews and standard routines to ensure sustainable results while using basic problem-solving tools and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement
- Assist the Production Team in the scheduling of the factory, communicating production needs to production supervisors, and monitoring overall production performance
The current shift option for this role is Monday through Friday from 11:00PM-7:30AM.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of operational experience in a fast-paced warehouse, production or equivalent environment
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a production, warehouse, or equivalent environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $87,00 to $125,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
