Position Summary

We are looking for a Key Account Manager, e-Commerce based at our PetCare Division in Mississauga, Ontario reporting into the Director, e-Commerce. This position is responsible achieving high performance target sales, profit & market share targets with priority OMNI retailers within Grocery, Mass and Alternate Channels. The individual is accountable for the strategic plan for the account as well as executing “go-to-market” strategies.  The incumbent will work closely with a wide cross-functional team to ensure target achievements and lead customer management as the main point of contact. 

A day in the life of...

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible four main areas: customer management; account planning; trade spending/competitive business solutions management; and forecasting/sales reporting.


You will also: 


•    Be the main point of contact for multiple OMNI retailers, lead strategy development, execution of tactics & operations. Lead negotiations on annual terms with retailers and ensure spends are within approved budgets.
•    Develop brand and portfolio strategies. Communicate cross-functional needs to develop the Account Plan. 
•    Manage assortment and mix availability with retailers. 
•    Work closely with eComm Media, Search & Content Managers to ensure achievement of Sales, Media, Search & Content KPIs.
•    Direct and guide Business Analyst on development of analysis, insights and next steps. Ensure pre/post promotion evaluation to improve return on investment.
 

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and have hands-on experience in relationship management. You will already have highly developed organizational, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills coupled with problem solving and strategic business thinking approach.  You will have financial acumen with strong analytical skills with a good understanding of profit & loss drivers and solid planning and forecasting knowledge.  Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market. 


You will also:
•    Have a University degree in a business-related discipline
•    Have 2-3 years of experience in a progressive eCommerce or Account management role
•    Be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
•    Possess developed organizational, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
•    Have an excellent understanding of technology (Microsoft Office)
