Position Summary

We are looking for a Strategic Revenue Management Lead based at our Mississauga, ON location reporting into the Director, Finance Planning and SRM.  This role drives macro pricing, promotion, and shared value insights, strategy, guidelines and best practices for Nestlé Purina via analytics, leveraging available tools and best practices in SRM capabilities.

A day in the life of...

  • Lead the development of Strategic Revenue Management analytics and insights in Pricing, Promotion, and Shared Value strategies.  Provide recommendations for improvement to Generating Demand Leadership team
  • Lead the development and refinement of analytic tools needed for analytics and insights around Pricing, Promotion, and Shared Valued strategy effectiveness.  Recommend appropriate tools to support Business Unit needs
  • Develop training content on Pricing, Promotion and Shared Value best practices and strategic direction.  Assist in delivery of training where feasible
  • Support Generating Demand team to identify potential SRM “big wins”.  Create and maintain central learning library to track and share SRM decisions and outcomes to support continuous improvement
  • Research global SRM best practices.  Lead SRM best practices, share-out and deployment across Nestlé Purina Canada
  • Drive thought leadership and future planning for Nestlé Purina in pricing and promotion and Trade Promotion Optimization tools and processes
  • Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies

What will make you successful

 

As the successful candidate, you will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, including being an excellent communicator and presenter.  You will also be innovative, detail oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving skills.

  • Completion of a University Degree with a focus in accounting / finance
  • MBA and / or CPA designation
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial systems, complex analysis and reporting within the CPG industry, including Sales and Finance experience
  • Strong analytical / problem-solving
  • Advanced MS Office experience
  • Experience using data manipulation and General Ledger systems
  • Relational database and Data Visualization experience would be an asset
