Position Summary
We are looking for a Business Operations Coordinator for our Nestle Purina PetCare Business based at our Mississauga location reporting into the General Manager for our Nutrition Group. This position is responsible for providing administration support to achieve business objectives in an effective and timely manner to the various teams (which includes GMA, SPG, Nutrition, MDO, Marketing and Facilities)
A day in the life of...
As a Business Operations Coordinator you will be working on our exciting Nutrition brand. You will be providing support to the teams with developing business reviews by collecting and compiling useful information as required within the Group. You will complete various quarterly, weekly and monthly ad-hoc reports for all staff within the group to analyse performance.
• Prepares and polishes presentations as directed.
• Reconciliation of spend and programs with Monthly Financials.
• Maintains spending within the scope of the Groups’ spending guideline or budget.
• Monitors additional payments and sales budgets by maintaining progress and status and advising Sales and Marketing VP/ Director and National Sales Mgr as appropriate.
• Coordinate, Meeting set-up and provide admin support for Commercial Planning Meetings
• Work with regional sales team & breeder group to coordinate trade show registrations, set-up and execution
• Responsible for the preparation and communication of sales and marketing programs and information as needed.
• Coordinating the translation of all Sales Information to the Field, if necessary
• Prepare P.O.S. material as required
• Provide a key point of contact between Field Sales and Head Office
• Responsible for the management of the sharepoint site
• Export and manipulate data from system to prepare reports on a customized basis as directed
• Ensure integrity of data in spreadsheets and reports.
• Prepare reports in a manner suitable for presentation
• Interact with Territory and Regional Managers to handle inquiries and issues related to products and escalate issues or problems to the appropriate staff as required.
• Performs other administrative duties as required, such as
• Coordinates Meeting logistics (i.e. Departmental Meetings)
• Respond to sales request and support department initiatives with quarterly meetings and minutes
• Vacation and absentee reporting, Travel arrangements, Storage needs, including product samples and supply replenishment
• Manages Premium / gift card ordering, approval and controls
What will make you successful
As the successful candidate, you will be communicating with other employees throughout the Sales department and Trade Development to obtain, clarify and discuss information required in performing the duties of the job. You are passionate, driven, results focused and able to assist the team and plan and prioritize effectively. You will have to have great organization skills and able to adapt quickly to various projects and tasks. You will have a proven ability to understand and analyse various reports and data for our sales and marketing teams.
You will also:
• Community College diploma or University Degree in Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of administrative support experience with familiarity of the sales/marketing functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, detail oriented
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and constant interruptions
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
• Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
