What to Expect:

As an Order To Cash (OTC) Specialist, you will be responsible for executing Order Life Cycle activities in Customer Service, Dispute Resolution, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Managed Inventory in a team focused environment. Your role directly impacts sales performance by monitoring customer ordering trends, optimizing inventory positions, resolving disputes, and improving invoice payment processes.

 

A day in the life:

  • Process new customer sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor sales order progression, proactively escalating any issues to the Customer, Sales, and Customer Facing Supply Chain Teams to ensure on-time delivery and mitigate risks to Purina's sales and revenues.
  • Resolve customer disputes by analyzing root causes and providing recommendations to Sales, Finance, and Customer Facing Supply Chain Teams to improve the effectiveness of trade development investments.
  • Close disputes promptly and accurately to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with customers' accounts payable department to collect overdue invoices.
  • Monitor payment trends and promptly escalate any payment timeliness issues to leadership.
  • Utilize Power BI Dashboards for efficient reporting and analysis to identify and improve customer performance results.

 

Role Requirements

  • University or college degree in a business-related discipline (such as supply chain or business administration), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capable of handling high-pressure situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
  • Knowledge of SAP and Powe BI
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform Tools (i.e. Power BI, Power Automate)
