Position Summary


Nestlé is seeking a Senior Project & Business Analyst to play a critical role in connecting IT & Digital teams with business stakeholders. This position owns the end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT initiatives, from discovery and requirements definition through execution and implementation. The role combines project leadership, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure high‑quality solutions that support business strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement. Note: this position is a brand-new role.

 

A day in the life of a Senior Project & Business Analyst:


Project & Program Delivery


•    Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and digital initiatives across multiple business functions
•    Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
•    Track and escalate key project decisions, risks, and issues and proactively manage resolution
•    Evaluate project health and performance, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards


Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement


•    Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs, opportunities, and pain points into clear IT requirements
•    Act as a trusted advisor by translating business strategies, threats, and opportunities into system and solution recommendations
•    Collaborate with IT Functional Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Architects to support strategy, innovation, and roadmap planning
•    Align stakeholders on expected business benefits, value realization, and success measures


Financial & Resource Management


•    Manage project budgets, forecasts, and change control processes
•    Support departmental cost center planning and plan vs actual analysis
•    Coordinate resourcing across internal IT teams and external partners


Security, Compliance & Risk


•    Ensure security, compliance, and risk requirements are embedded in solution design and execution
•    Coordinate with business owners and regional security teams to support audit, reporting, and compliance activities

 

What will make you successful


•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
•    3 - 5 years of experience in IT and/or project, program, or business analysis roles
•    Experience working in matrixed, global organizations with virtual and cross functional teams
•    Strong project management skills with experience using Agile, Scrum, PMI, Prince2 Agile, Lean, or similar methodologies
•    Ability to manage scope, budget, timelines, and resources across multiple initiatives
•    Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable IT and product requirements
•    Strong understanding of change management, dependency management, and risk mitigation


Preferred Skills


•    Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive level reporting
•    Highly analytical, with strong problem solving and decision making capabilities
•    Comfortable managing ambiguity and prioritizing multiple competing demands

Compensation Range: $ 80,000 - $ 100,000 CAD
