What to Expect:

This role provides internal end-user support for hardware, software, conferencing, and networking solutions. You will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver world-class IT support services to our employees by means of proactive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting/problem solving. A sense of urgency, excellent time management, and strong communication skills will play a key role in your success. This role is fully onsite. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday at the Nestlé Purina office in Mississauga, Ontario. This position is a brand-new role.

 

A day in the life:

  • Provide Level 1 help desk and Level 2 onsite support through Teams, email, phone, walk-ups, and ServiceNow.
  • Set up, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and warehouse RF devices.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and asset records, and support equipment receiving, tagging, lifecycle management, and disposal.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows 11, basic Mac OS needs, conference rooms, Teams meetings, and Teams Live Events.
  • Troubleshoot client-side network issues across office, home, and mobile connections.
  • Support local technology projects, third-party vendors, and other sites when needed.
  • Provide clear technology guidance or training to employees with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Join the after-hours on-call rotation and provide project support outside regular hours when required.

 

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical support experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience providing Level 1 help desk and Level 2 desk-side support for onsite and remote users.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware setup, imaging, deployment, break/fix, and asset management. HP and Lenovo experience is preferred.
  • Experience using ServiceNow for incidents, requests, and asset records.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, VPNs, and remote support tools.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell, Computer Management, and client-side network troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to support small projects and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, or SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting Teams meetings, live events, server rooms, or technology training.
  • Technical certifications, vocational technology training, or post-secondary studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation Range: CAD 90,000- CAD 95,000
