TO DEMONSTRATE PASSION & LOVE FOR COFFEE

TO EDUCATE CLIENTS

TO COACH AND MENTOR COFFEE SPECIALISTS

To connect and engage with customers, using storytelling and interpersonal skills, to give them a reason to try something new as part of their Boutique experience.  Through sharing coffee stories with customers, the Bard will connect with customers in new and engaging ways, giving them reasons to return often. They will also support the other Boutique team members in developing their coffee knowledge and communication skills, in addition to animating the whole customer experience, from setting up to influencing sales and administrative duties, bringing customers on effortless, inspiring coffee journeys.

A day in the life of...

Coffee expertise:
• Be a source of relevant information and knowledge of the Nespresso Universe and all product categories within the BTQ
• coordination with the Coffee Ambassador
• Organize event, workshop and engagement activities to leverage the coffee expertise knowledge within the BTQ in collaboration with BM and Coffee Ambassador (internal: BTQ colleagues and external: BTQ customers)
• Ensure the link between the coffee ambassador, boutique management, trainers and the coffee specialist to develop engaging communication
• Systematically share best practices within the local BTQ and global community.
• Increase the level of expertise speech in close collaboration with the BM and ABM
• Organise Golden Capsule at BTQ level

 

Training, Mentoring & Coaching
-Reference point for all training matters linked to Coffee Expertise
-Responsibility for registering team mates to trainings according to the personal coffee journey
-Individual preparation and follow up on the training contents
-On-going and regular training & coaching on the Nespresso trilogy – coffee, machines, services as well as to all contents living in the Coffee Expertise training path 
-Delivery of diverse in-BTQ training sessions focusing on ---Coffee Expertise (e.g. tasting sessions) 
-Execution of regular assessments / snap shots in order to track success of training delivery 
-Regular feedback on training impact and quality to Coffee Ambassador 

 

Sharing Coffee Stories
-Engaging with customers, using storytelling and interpersonal skills, to help them explore the Boutique experience in inspiring ways.
-Sharing personal coffee and brand heritage stories with customers, to engage their interest in new products and experiences.
-Asking customers about their personal coffee stories and journeys, to understand their needs individually.
-Using storytelling to inspire customers to explore the Boutique experience, giving them a reason to want to return often.

 

Bringing the Customer Experience to Life
-Helping customers and prospects to explore and enjoy the full customer experience in the boutique.
-Encouraging customers to try something new, or in a different way, as part of their visit to the boutique.
-Helping other boutique team members to develop their storytelling skills and personal narratives, so that they can bring the experience to life 100%.
-Advising both prospects and club members on Nespresso products and services.
- Initiating club members to the art of coffee tasting and encouraging their curiosity about our full range of products and recipes.
- Engaging with customers via social media to drive traffic to boutique & in store events 


Delivering Operational Excellence
- Setting up the Boutique tasting zone or involve zone and maintaining its cleanliness and order, in accordance with guidelines
-Influencing & Optimising the sale of all the Nespresso products presented in the Boutique (coffee, hot machines and accessories) through engagement with customers
-Actively managing the database on a daily basis and permanently updating customer records for events, masterclass to track customer preferences & additional reasons for repeat visits & strengthen customer loyalty.
- for small boutiques or during peak periods checking payments in accordance with the defined procedure.

 

Personal Contribution:
- To develop skills, expertise and personal effectiveness against Personal Development Plan
- ensure you are up to date with what is happening externally
