Position Summary
The primary purpose of the Boutique Planning Manager is to increase service levels to the national boutique network, while optimizing overall distribution costs (freight costs to DC) and Fixed Distribution (Pick and Pack / Warehousing). The role is responsible to drive continuous improvements lean process with all supply chain and retail operations functions.
A day in the life:
- Lead and engage a team of skilled Planners to continuously improve the quality of forecast, replenishment, processes and services
- Lead all aspects of boutique replenishment processes, ensuring compliance with optimized schedules and inventory adjustments.
- Ensure continuing alignment with Business priorities, initiatives and activities, and the delivery of performance to agreed KPI levels.
- Maintain and monitor inventory control standards and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Boutiques and Inventory Control Lead for effective inventory management.
- Recommend best practices based on business analysis to improve service levels and processes.
- Develop replenishment schedules considering geographical delivery needs and seasonal variations under most optimal and cost effective delivery strategy.
- Partner with DSP, Logistics, and Retail Boutique managers to optimize distribution costs.
- Coordinate with Marketing for promotional rollouts and develop nationwide forecasts.
- Implement and monitor a monthly Cycle Count Program to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Analyze KPIs related to boutique planning and provide insights for operational improvements.
- Support financial internal control assessments and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 year relevant and successful experience at market/business level in either demand and supply planning, inventory management and/or logistics
- High competency level in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant operational experience at market/business level, in Inventory Accounting and Internal Controls and/or Transport operations
