What to Expect: 
We are looking for a National Key Account Manager based out of Vancouver, British Columbia reporting into the National Lead B2B Key Accounts. This role will be responsible for building the National Key Account channel strategy and drive sustainable sales with new and existing customers. This position is an existing vacancy.  

 

A day in the life:
•    Drive and develop national Hotel, Office, Restaurant, Out of home customers (Horeca/Office) Key Account strategy 
•    Define the national key account opportunities in size clusters (small, medium, large), international, national or provincial opportunities 
•    Seek agreement with Master Service Agreement (MSA) strategic business objectives linked with P&L model validation by the Manager B2B National Accounts and finance controller. 
•    Set annual national key account plan with high level targets of acquisition and existing customers. 
•    Establish a competitive advantage using market insight, competition and shopper insights 
•    Look and prospect for new national strategics accounts. Assess their potential and develop them with the collaboration of the Account Manager team. 
•    Provide regular updates on sales and business key performance indicators. 
Maintain relationship with National Key Accounts:
•    Build strong relationships with future national accounts and existing customers to consistently execute strategy and ensure channel‑specific availability.
•    Coordinate with the market’s Marketing (CRM) and CRC function to guarantee high standards of customer relationship and service management. 

 

Execute excellence through customer planning:
•    Complete the B2B sales strategy in collaboration with the Account Managers in designated regions 
•    Set annual targets of capsule and machine sales by customer and develop a detailed operational plan: volume, value, P&L follow-up and reporting. Review and agree on targets with respective customers. 
•    Define and agree on promotional activities with buying office and marketing teams. Liaise and co-ordinate with Marketing Manager to coordinate those activities. Actively facilitate and implement local initiatives 

 

Market insight: 
•    Analyze the Horeca and Office market complexity, its potential and foresee future trends. 
•    Understand the Horeca and Office channels on a National Level, develop insights focusing on key customers and regional specification via the mastery and implementation of all available market analytical tools while using this know-how with the HQ and other internal stakeholders. 

 

What will make you successful? 
You will champion the brand across the organization, bringing passion, drive, and results focus to a fast paced, high energy environment. Strong relationship management, analytical skills, and a proactive, organized approach are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a competitive market.

 

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position 
•    Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing a Profit and Loss (P&L) model, coupled with a strong capacity for creativity and the development of innovative solutions
•    Post secondary education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•    Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.
•    Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI is an asset
•    Excel in strategic negotiation with Senior level Managers using MSA National Agreements. 
•    Have the ability to build great relationships with internal stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects. 
•    Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills 
•    Candidate must possess a full valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
