What to Expect:
The Procurement Business Partner is the representative of the Procurement Function with the markets on scope ensuring good information flow between the Nespresso markets and Procurement. This role will ensure the development, management and prioritization of procurement activities servicing the Corporate Function and engage category teams across all spend categories to effectively deliver against the corresponding business units or Function strategies. This position is an existing vacancy
A day in the life:
- Understand serviced entity strategies and priorities and translate that into needs and integrate the information into procurement category strategies
- Ensure this information is provided to all critical Global category leaders.
- Involved at early stage of project development within the Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Function,
- Understand innovation and renovation plans for Globally Managed Business and interface with Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional specific groups developing strategy and supplier needs. Ensure these are effectively represented and incorporated into category and Supplier Relationship Management work.
- Understand category strategies and sourcing plans and represent these to the Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional leadership at relevant stages throughout the category process.
- Ensure category strategies and sourcing plans are understood by the Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional leadership, and effects are debated and discussed with Hub teams/local teams as required.
- Feedback to the Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional leadership supply market evolution and industry outlooks, forward pricing and hedging as and when applicable.
- Monitor and manage the delivery of value to the Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional leadership and provide focus, assignments, motivation, support and coaching to procurement to understand and deliver Globally Managed Business/Strategic Business Unit/Functional needs.
- Monitor and ensure the compliance of the procurement activities in the markets (Source 2 Pay, Vendor Approval Process)
- Represent the markets across the procurement function (Nespresso Head Quarter, Nestrade, Nestle In the Market)
- Contribute to the Procurement function objectives achievement in the markets (Savings, Payment Terms, Compliance)
Role Requirements
- Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and worldwide.
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, engineer, marketing or any related field
- 5-8 years’ experience in Categories and/or Stakeholder Management, Procurement
- Proven ability to manage complex projects & diverse stakeholders
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suit
- SAP, Power BI and any ERP system knowledge (an asset)

- Ability to build relationships with colleagues internally and externally
- Excellent communication and stakeholders’ management skills.
- Demonstrated skills of entrepreneurship
