Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Project Portfolio Analyst for Nespresso based at our Montreal office reporting into the Project Portfolio Manager.  This position works closely with cross functional project teams and the Project Portfolio Manager to create a strong culture of project management and delivery of strategic projects and innovation.

A day in the life of a Project Portfolio Analyst:

 

Support the Canadian project portfolio management process:
•    Project input and quality control in project management tool
•    Provide support to the project portfolio manager and occasionally to departments to improve project management
•    Ensure data quality and completeness of project information, documents and tools
•    Support in monitoring and ensuring the stability of the portfolio of projects and identify eventual bottlenecks and insights to drive the successful delivery of the portfolio
•    Elaborate reports and presentations and facilitate the consolidation of project dashboards
•    Review processes in place and propose new ideas to improve efficiency
•    Support in the definition of Project KPI and tracking of those KPIs
•     Project coordination and follow-up upon need
Support in the competencies in Project Management:
•    Accompany the Project Portfolio Manager to the use of the best practices, methods and project management tools defined by Nespresso
•    Maintain the project documentation up to date and contribute to the improvement of existing processes
•    Support in the elaboration and eventually animation of project management trainings and meetings
•    Help in setting up templates, guidelines and standards of best practices of project management to be used by the community
Facilitate acceleration of innovation in project management:
•    Be proactive to propose and identify innovative ideas to accelerate the buy-in of project management within the community
•    Remain alert and aware of the new trends in project management that could be applied to help the project management community

What will make you successful

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, specialization in Business Process, Finance or Engineering
  • Specialization in Project Management
  • 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Effective Project Management and presentation skills
  • Must be proficient with PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Ability to work with, influence and have an impact on cross functional teams
  • Certification in project management a plus
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Agile / Kanban / Hybrid project methodology is a plus
  • Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written
