Position Summary

We are looking for a Contract Coordinator (12-month contract) based out of our Montreal Nespresso office.  This position is the primary contact for all contract related subjects at Nespresso Canada.  It ensures full compliance with existing guidelines, policies, and approved internal control procedures related to contract management.  It is essential to support Nespresso’s fast-paced environment and rapid growth while abiding to Nestle’s procurement guidelines.  The Contract Coordinator will also interact with key stakeholders on a regular basis for status updates, follow-ups, and progression against timeline.  The individual will also maintain strong relationships with Nestle Procurement and Legal community (HQ, Nestle in the market, etc…) to liaise with Nespresso Canada locally.

A day in the life of...

  • Contract signature process coordination
    • Support locally the contract signature process
    • Follow-up with internal stakeholders to ensure timely achievement of the contract signature process
  • Compliance and reporting
    • Ensure compliance of procurement with Nestle’s guidelines
    • Monitor compliance levels and report to Nespresso’s HQ
    • Provide Nespresso HQ with timely communication on compliance and tracking of procurement savings
  • Vendor database management
    • Manage the new vendor onboarding process
    • Maintain up-to-date vendor database and Nespresso’s preferred suppliers list
    • Manage contract life cycle to ensure timely renewal
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Nestle Procurement and Legal community (HQ, Nestle in the market, etc…) to liaise with Nespresso Canada locally
  • Contract compliance and custodian
    • Keep track of expiration dates of all contracts
    • In charge of single repository and coordinate access
    • Ensure proper process is followed
    • Coordinate the commercial and financial reviews of contracts less than $100K

What will make you successful

  • A Bachelor Degree with specialization in purchasing or negotiation
  • 2 to 5 years experience in purchasing in a retail environment
  • Proven analytical skills and procurement project management experience
  • Effective communication, both oral and written
  • Ability to communicate at various levels across the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and set up priorities to respect tight deadlines
  • Results-driven and a team player
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience using an ERP; knowledge of SAP and Ariba considered an asset
  • Fluent in French and English
