Position Summary

We are looking for a B2C Business Intelligence Manager based at our Montreal Head Office. The incumbent will enable the B2C business (Trade, Retail, e-comm, CRC departments) to improve sales performance and efficiency across channels by providing Omni-channel business analysis, planning, and intelligence while building business excellence organization capability.

A day in the life of...

As a B2C Business Intelligence Manager, you will:

Channel performance analysis
•    Analyze and identify channel developments and trends leading to key insights
•    Manage and share key business metrics highlighting risks/opportunities and gaps and making recommendations from a sales, inventory and assortment stand-point
•    Monitor sales targets and trends weekly, monthly and quarterly by collecting data and delivering key dashboards including in preparation of key meetings
•    Support the Sales Field organization 

Business forecasting and planning
•    Implement forecasting models/tools to ensure accurate predictive analysis and planning and optimal investment allocation from a sales, inventory, assortment and budget standpoint
•    Lead the Canada market machine forecast, the partnership with Machine Partners (Breville and DeLonghi) and the collaboration with National Account Managers
•    Provide on-going intelligence and contribute in “shaping” the Nespresso long term strategy by owning the machine forecast, at the core of our Nespresso business model
•    Align sales incentive KPI's and target setting 
•    Maximize/improve stock inventory from a quantitative and quality stand-point across Trade and Retail

Business Intelligence 
•    Contribute to Canada market strategy and long-term planning (5 year scope)
•    Input to yearly budget planning preparation from a channel strategy recommendation, business metric, and budget standpoint
•    Support in financial and market analysis 
•    Support in key promotional analysis to optimize promotional strategy on-going


Business Excellence and Communication
•    Implement the optimal Omni-channel reporting/forecasting structure with the right tools and processes 
•    Leverage power BI to carry the digital transformation across channels
•    Partner with Supply to define the most efficient forecasting approach and inventory management for Trade and Retail
•    Own the continuous improvement of processes and tools and ensure team is fully trained/empowered for business continuity and personal development
•    Provide relevant data and recommendations to key internal stakeholders 

People & Performance Management
•    Attract and retain talent, develop the personal effectiveness of employees by regular coaching and implementation of learning activities
•    Build a strong team where team members collaborate effectively and understand their shared goals and purpose
•    Build the Nespresso culture by promoting and supporting a happy, healthy and safe working environment that encourages teamwork, ambition and a high level of professionalism

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will also:

•    10 years of experience in business, marketing, sales, or supply (preferably in a Retail/Trade environment)
•    Proven experience in business intelligence and very strong analytical skills 
•    People Management Experience
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Experience of working with High end/luxury/ premium brands would be an advantage
•    Bilingual French / English
