What to Expect: 
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for a 14-month contract working remotely in the Lower Mainland, BC region, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Lead. This role is responsible regional field sales efforts according to the national strategy, in order to maximize sells. You will enhance machine assortment and brand visibility at the Points of Sale (POS), while building strong relationships with store management and sales associates. Make Nespresso the preferred coffee system in stores and be a passionate Ambassador of the Nespresso brand. This position is an existing vacancy.

 

A day in the life:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will build and manage relationships with various Points of Sales (POS) to ensure the availability of Nespresso machines and maintain brand consistency. Your responsibilities include independent account management, securing shelf space, demonstrating products, and motivating staff about innovations. You will also manage the demo program and ensure compliance with Nestlé and Nespresso business principles

 

You will also: 
•    Oversee machine inventory in stores to ensure proper assortment and minimize out-of-stock situations, including updating expired capsule sampler packs
•    Analyze business data for effective discussions and negotiations with Points of Sales (POS)
•    Conduct daily store visits based on your schedule and territory plan
•    Collaborate with agency demo agents and the field manager to support growth and adherence to brand guidelines, including an average of one weekend per month
•    Negotiate sell-out activities to optimize product rotation in stores
•    Facilitate permanent coffee tasting opportunities at POS to enhance customer experience
•    Foster effective partnerships between POS and Nespresso to maximize sales and brand visibility
•    Identify and secure POS in high-potential outlets for Nespresso
•    Maximize promotional activities and communication materials for machine launches
•    Manage demonstration activities in compliance with trade guidelines and agency contract terms
•    Liaise with the demo agency for recruitment, planning, training, and performance assessment of in-store demonstrators
•    Ensure compliance with all Nespresso policies and submit required HQ reports accurately and on time

 

Role Requirements
•    3+ years of experience as a sales leader in the field, with a proven track record of achieving business results and effective in-store merchandising
•    Some physical labour required (up to 50 lbs)
•    Must reside within the territory and be available for travel as needed
•    Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required; frequent travel within the assigned territory is expected
•    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to think strategically to identify business opportunities.
•    Post-secondary education in Business or a related field
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•    Strong leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and interpersonal skills
•    Intermittent evening and weekend work as per the business needs
